Regional Advisory Council (RAC)
The mission of the Northern Colorado AIDS Project (NCAP)
Regional Advisory Council (RAC) is to provide the voice of those living with
HIV/AIDS in partnership with other HIV service providers and key community
stakeholders by consulting with NCAP regarding core and supportive services in
Northern Colorado. The RAC will assess
and guide NCAP on delivery of services and creatively strive to represent the
diversity of the client population in Northern Colorado.
The Regional Advisory Council (RAC) is an advisory council comprised of clients, volunteers and other service providers collaborating to ensure delivery of appropriate services for people living with HIV/AIDS. The mission of the Northern Colorado AIDS Project Regional Advisory Council is to provide the eyes and voice of those living with HIV or AIDS in Northern Colorado by giving guidance to NCAP regarding the needs of clients for core and supportive services, and disseminate information to clients regarding changes in policies and services. The Regional Advisory Council will be diverse and creative being the voice of those clients in Northern Colorado.
The RAC meets each month to provide input on programs and services, to review client suggestions and comments, plan client-sponsored projects and activities and review current systems of care and treatment. The RAC meets every 4th Tuesday at 2pm at the NCAP office in Fort Collins. All clients are invited to attend this meeting to provide input and/or become a member of the RAC.
